Prologis Germany launches Clear Lease™ as their new standard lease. With Clear Lease™, lease negotiations move faster, and difficult conversations are minimized. After its introduction in the USA, Prologis now offers Clear Lease™ contracts in Europe – initially in Germany, Spain and Slovakia.

They dread the unexpected expenses that sometimes occur, causing them to miss budgets. Customers prefer a transparent leasing process with greater certainty. That’s how Clear Lease™ came to be.
Clear Lease™ contains regulations concerning the lease and includes a fixed charge for ancillary costs for the full term of the lease. The fixed charge covers all conventional operating costs in the contractually defined catalogue of services as well as maintenance and repair costs and administrative costs. Only public duties and energy costs are charged directly based on official notice or consumption. Clear Lease™ already complies with the new accounting standards that will come into effect in January 2019.
