Prologis today announced that Sander Breugelmans has assumed the role of Regional Head, Northern Europe (NER), following the departure of Bram Verhoeven.
Sander took over the reins of the 5.7 million square meter portfolio on September 1 and is managing all Benelux, German and Nordics activities. In addition to working with the local teams on capital deployment and future growth, he will continue to be responsible for the Benelux business as country manager. Breugelmans joined Prologis in 2006 and has been an integral part of the growth and success of the Benelux platform.
The northern Europe region has been under the leadership of Bram Verhoeven since July 2018, who developed a very high quality, well-positioned portfolio with a strong, customer focused team.
“Bram significantly contributed to our European business over the past 14 years, supporting first our Benelux and later all of our northern European customers”, said Ben Bannatyne, President Prologis Europe. “He shaped the NER platform into a sector-leading logistics portfolio that aligns well with our customers’ unique needs and our high commitment to ESG. We thank Bram for his contributions and wish him well with his chosen start-up endeavours. I am delighted that Sander is stepping up to take on the Regional Head role, a testament to the strength of the team and depth of experience we have within the European business.”
